An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced administrator to join a busy and established team and help provide front line support to our Social Care teams to carry out their work with the children, young people and families of Nottinghamshire. This is a varied role which can be challenging but also very rewarding.

The successful candidate will be positive, organised and willing to work as part of a supportive team. They will demonstrate the ability to communicate at all levels, be efficient, able to work on their own initiative, manage their own workload and possess ICT skills with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365. They should have a flexible and adaptable manner, show great attention to detail, be able to work under pressure to achieve shared goals, adapt to change and meet required deadlines.

Due to the nature of our work, all applicants will need to be aware of the importance of maintaining confidentiality and acting within the Data Protection Act and General Data Protection Regulations.

Duties will be varied and will include producing letters and other documentation, creating meeting invitations, general administrative tasks, taking and redirecting phone calls and being a point of contact for families, professionals and social care colleagues. Relevant training will be provided.

There will be the opportunity to work in a hybrid way, with an expectation that you work from our Ollerton office a minimum of once or twice per week (as required by business needs). 

Part-time hours will need to include a Monday, Tuesday and Friday with a half day which can be either a Wednesday or Thursday.

Interviews will be held face to face.
