As a Liaison Support Officer you will:
  • Be in regular contact with contractors, landowners, occupiers and other stakeholders to deliver client requirements
  • Aid in the arrangement of access to private land for planned works
  • Serve notices
  • Help evidence condition of land before entry
  • Under guidance, advise and agree reinstatement of land and deal, with help to formulate agricultural loss claims
  • Maintain accurate records tracking progress of activities to provide regular client updates and ensure accurate time recording
  • Work in line with client-set timeframes and targets to ensure the timely delivery of the programme
  • Work closely with the internal project teams, taking instruction and assisting with client demands
  • Keep the internal project team updated and report on tasks keeping accurate and detailed notes providing updates through IT systems

The successful candidate will:
  • Have a full UK driving licence
  • Be an excellent communicator with the willingness to learn and develop
  • Have good knowledge of agriculture and rural affairs
  • Be self-motivated and organised
  • Be a great team player and have a can-do attitude
