Job Title: Project Support Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Support Officer to join our Programme Transformation team at South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide high-quality project support, including strategic research, information analysis, report writing, and maintenance of project plans and risk logs. They will work flexibly across programme areas as needed, supporting the smooth running of the team and managing the heavy workload of a busy office.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the Project Portfolio Manager in setting and creating frameworks, guidance, and templates for managing change across SCAS.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to project managers, ensuring relevant project documentation is completed to the right standard.
  • Monitor incoming projects and maintain the team's intranet page.
  • Monitor and request updates on the progress of projects, including issues, risks, inter-dependencies, resources, and benefits across the programme of change.
  • Manage the virtual project 'library' within SCAS.
  • Collect, analyze, and prepare project updates in support of the Executive Transformation Board.
Person Specification

We are looking for a highly flexible and adaptable individual with significant experience of working in a similar professional environment. The successful candidate will have a degree-level qualification or equivalent experience and hold a PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.

Desirable criteria include a project or programme-related qualification, such as MSP or P30 Practitioner.
