**Job description**

Defence Equipment Sales Authority offers an alternative way for customers and international governments to acquire proven capabilities in a cost-effective manner. We handle the disposal of all materiel that can generate revenue within the UK and overseas, including aircraft and spares, ships, boats, river craft and other marine vessels and military and domestic vehicles, except for nuclear, domestic waste and infrastructure. This makes our teams unique in government and allows for a varied workload and interesting projects.

Enquiries are varied and some are time bound making these interesting and varied positions. You will be working as part of a team with the ability to develop and learn whilst in the post. This is an important role and will provide a varied and interesting opportunity.

**Responsibilities**
- Producing data in support of recommendations for the disposal or sale of equipment in a timely manner for agreed ranges of equipment.
- Interrogating Item Data Records on the MOD Logistic Information Systems and transferring information onto Sales and Disposal information system for an agreed range of equipment.
- Confirm the distribution requirements for agreed ranges of equipment and support its delivery.
- Supporting stock accounting activities to enable materiel and financial accounting in accordance with Policies and Processes for stock held by contractors.

**What you will be assessed against**
- Experience in delivering customer service
- Skilled in handling, interpreting, and processing of data
- Evidence of successfully working in collaboration with others
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams)
