Special Needs Teacher - SEN School

A wonderful SEN school rated as 'Good' by Ofsted with 'Outstanding' features is currently seeking an experienced Special Needs Teacher to join their team. If you have a passion for teaching children with additional needs, this could be the perfect role for you.

In this position, you will be responsible for teaching a small Key Stage 3 class of students with complex learning needs. The class operates at a KS2 level, making it a unique and rewarding teaching opportunity. The school is open to considering candidates from both primary and secondary backgrounds.

Job Role:
  • Teach small classes of Key Stage 3 Students with Special Educational Needs
  • Plan and deliver lessons tailored to individual student needs
  • Work closely with the SENCO and TA's to provide appropriate support
  • Create a nurturing and safe learning environment for all students
  • Assist students in overcoming academic and social challenges
