Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special educational needs? We are seeking a dedicated individual to provide personalized tutoring for a learner requiring 1:1 support in a home environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), selective mutism, anxiety, and communication challenges.
  • Willingness to travel to the student's residence.

Role Overview:

Your primary responsibility will involve delivering 12 hours of tailored instruction in Mathematics and English. You will be expected to:

  • Adapt your teaching methods to cater to the unique strengths and challenges of the learner.
  • Employ innovative educational strategies and assistive technologies to boost engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Regularly evaluate the student's progress and modify your teaching approaches to ensure ongoing development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status or equivalent teaching credentials.
  • Experience in teaching students with special educational needs, with limited training available through relevant services.
  • Strong understanding of the primary curriculum, particularly Key Stages 1 and 2, along with the engagement model.
  • Excellent organizational skills to effectively manage individualized education plans and track student progress.
