Reports to: Portfolio and Enablement Director - AI & Data Practice

The Training Manager in the AI and Data Practice is responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs for both customers and internal teams. This role is central to the Practice's mission of empowering organizations to seamlessly integrate AI technologies into their business operations.

The Training Manager ensures that the Practice's training strategy accelerates the learning curve and equips customers with the essential skills and knowledge to leverage AI technologies effectively and responsibly within their organization, driving sustainable business value.

Responsibilities

Training Development

Designing and refining a comprehensive training catalogue for AI and data technologies.

Creating engaging and practical training materials, including presentations, hands-on labs, case studies, and e-learning modules.

Training Delivery

Delivering high-quality, instructor-led training sessions both in-person and virtually.

Developing and conducting train-the-trainer programs to ensure consistent and effective course delivery.

Training Schedule Management

Developing and managing the training schedule, coordinating with internal teams and customers.

Allocating resources and resolving scheduling conflicts to ensure smooth training sessions.

Assessing the Effectiveness of Training Offerings

Implementing metrics to evaluate training effectiveness.

Analysing feedback and data to improve training quality and relevance.

Building Out the Training Team

Recruiting, training, and managing a team of skilled trainers.

Conducting performance reviews and encouraging continuous professional development.

Successful Performers Will Be Able To:

Design and continuously improve a robust training AI & data curriculum for the Practice

Create engaging and practical training materials suited to various learning styles and environments.

Collaborate effectively with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) within the consulting practice to ensure training content is accurate, relevant and aligned.

Deliver high-quality training sessions both in-person and virtually.

Develop and manage a comprehensive and up-to-date training catalogue.

Implement train-the-trainer programs

Develop and manage an effective training schedule, ensuring resource allocation and conflict resolution.

Evaluate training program effectiveness using established metrics and make data-driven improvements.

Build, manage, and develop a high-performing training team.

Successful Performers will understand:

Instructional design principles and adult learning theories.

The importance of a well-maintained training catalogue for program accessibility and relevance.

How to integrate technology advancements in a fast-moving area into training programs.

Effective training delivery methods, both in-person and virtual, and the tools required for interactive learning.

A well-planned training schedule is necessary for timely and efficient training delivery.

Metrics for assessing training effectiveness and the importance of continuous improvement.

Team dynamics, performance management, and the value of continuous professional development for trainers.

Qualifications

Proven experience in training within a software vendor or services organization.

Strong background in instructional design and adult learning principles.

Experience and understanding of AI technologies and their application in business contexts.

Ability to travel, on-site at customer and training hubs in London and Velencia

Flexibility in working hours may be needed to accommodate training sessions for different time zones.
