FPSG are supporting our established global client with an exciting opportunity for a VAT/GST Advisory Specialist on a 12-month temp role, based in London

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established small advisory team supporting within the EMEA Region.

Your responsibilities will include:

Action VAT return review meetings analysing data, querying changes and advising on reasons for changes/new patternsComplete new VAT registrations and subsequent amendments/deregistrationsSupport VAT compliance team providing information to Tax Authorities in a timely manner in response to audit requests.Supporting and collating with advisors in various countries to receive accurate VAT advice within the budgetSupporting the team, Finance and the Business Units with ad hoc advisory requires.Work closely with bankers and invoicing teams to advise on the VAT treatment of IBD (M&A) dealsSupport the Indirect Tax team with new processes and compliance procedures
You will have the following skills:Experience with banking/financial services industry preferable with Professional Tax Exams completedBachelor's degree requiredConfident to advise and query approving items they are not comfortable with or do not fully understand.Experience of supporting a team and sharing advice and knowledgeExceptional organizational and analytical skills along with strong communication skills, some client support maybe required
