About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Indirect Tax Advisory Specialist to join our team at Forvis Mazars. As a key member of our VAT advisory practice, you will play a crucial role in developing our Real Estate VAT expertise and working closely with our London VAT Partner and other members of the VAT team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop VAT Advisory Practice: Contribute to the growth and development of our VAT advisory practice, with a focus on Real Estate VAT issues.
  • Deliver High-Quality Advice: Provide expert technical advice to a diverse range of clients, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet our firm's standards.
  • Client Management: Manage a portfolio of clients, developing strong relationships and growing your base of profitable work.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, develop relationships with clients and other professionals, and contribute to proposals for new work.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest VAT legislation, case law, and technical analysis, providing expert advice and support to clients and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Strong Technical Skills: Substantial experience in VAT advisory work, including a good knowledge of real estate VAT issues.
  • Business Development Skills: Proven ability to develop new business opportunities and grow your client base.
  • Client Handling Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills, with the ability to develop strong relationships with clients and other professionals.
  • Professional Qualifications: CTA or legally qualified.
