We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our dynamic team. This role, reporting to the Group Head of Tax, offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the continued success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice on Value-Added Tax (VAT) matters to internal stakeholders, including Finance, Legal, and Operations teams.
  • Collaborate with external advisors and tax authorities as necessary to resolve VAT-related issues and inquiries.
  • Develop and maintain robust Excel models for VAT reporting, analysis, and forecasting purposes.
  • Lead VAT-related projects, such as VAT audits, process automation initiatives, and system implementations.
Requirements:
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or ICAS) and/or Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) qualification preferred.
  • Proven experience in VAT compliance and advisory roles, preferably within the financial services sector.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel modelling, including advanced functions and macros.
  • Ability to communicate complex tax issues effectively to non-tax professionals.
