VAT Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled VAT Accountant to join our finance team at Inventum Group in London. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our financial experts to manage our VAT obligations and support various financial activities.
About the Role:
- Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit accurate VAT returns to HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC).
- Manage VAT payments and reclaim processes.
- Provide specialist VAT advice and ensure team knowledge is up-to-date.
- Contribute to budgeting, statutory accounts, financial regulation, and other finance-related tasks.
Requirements:
- Part-qualified or qualified by experience, with a strong focus on VAT.
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within an educational environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and accounting software.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
