Monday – Friday, 8:45am – 3:15pm

LSP – 5 hours each day

LTS – 1 hour each day

(1/2 hour lunch)

LEVEL 5 p7 (LSP)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic candidate who can develop a mentoring relationship with children needing particular support where necessary aimed at achieving their individual learning goals or in a supportive role within the classroom.

We require someone who:


• Is an excellent team player


• Is flexible and well organised


• Is creative and energetic


• Will enjoy working with a supportive and dedicated team of staff


• Will enjoy working with our delightful children


• Has a vibrant personality and good sense of humour


• Will have experience working with children with SEN or other similar needs

Applicants must have excellent Literacy/Numeracy skills. All candidates must have good interpersonal skills and an ability to be an effective team player. Ability to support the teacher in the planning and delivery of learning activities.

At Ash Green Primary Academy, we are looking for an enthusiastic and committed 'Learning Support Practitioner' who is dedicated to sustaining high quality learning and teaching, to join our supportive and successful teaching team. The staff are highly motivated, hardworking and friendly and have high expectations for all our children. We are looking to add to our excellent team by appointing a new member of staff who is enthusiastic and hardworking.

Candidates must have a clear philosophy of how children learn best, evidence of excellent practice, a positive attitude and adaptability, a commitment to continual professional development and be able to work effectively as part of a team contributing original and innovative ideas so that the children's learning is enhanced.
