As a Learning Support Coordinator, you will play a vital role in guiding learners towards success by providing personalized assistance and fostering their growth.


Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with curriculum delivery teams to assess learner needs and develop tailored support strategies.
  • Conduct comprehensive learning support interviews and assessments to identify specific requirements.
  • Proactively identify learners who may be facing challenges in achieving their goals and implement effective interventions.
  • Maintain meticulous records of support activities and update individual learning plans to reflect progress.
  • Deliver both one-on-one and group support sessions in various settings, including classrooms and off-site locations.
  • Coordinate exam adjustments and reviews for learners with EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans).

Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you will possess:

  • A Level 2/3 Learning Support qualification
  • GCSEs in English and Maths
  • A full driving licence

  • Working with diverse adult learners from various backgrounds
  • Managing confidential information with discretion
  • Assessing and supporting learners with Specific Learning Difficulties (SPLDs)

  • Educational systems and best practices in mentoring

Finally, your skills should include:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
