Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Clinical Practitioner to take on the pivotal role of Senior Advanced Clinical Practitioner Lead within our esteemed organization. This position is integral to the strategic enhancement of advanced clinical practice within our healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Drive the standardization of Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) roles across the organization.
  • Provide visionary leadership and governance for ACPs throughout the trust.
  • Offer professional expertise and guidance related to ACP practices.
  • Facilitate discussions to define current processes and promote the adoption of best practices.
  • Foster professional relationships regionally and nationally to exchange best practices.
  • Lead and develop forums for both trainee and qualified ACPs.
  • Formulate policies and procedures pertinent to ACP roles.
  • Coordinate audit, research, and development initiatives associated with ACP roles.
  • Collaborate with senior divisional teams to manage and support ACP business plans and budgets.
  • Oversee budgetary responsibilities related to ACP initiatives.
  • Promote compliance with best practices across the organization, focusing on clinical networking and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

  • Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification.
  • Master's degree or equivalent.
  • Significant experience in an ACP role.
  • Experience in team management and project oversight.
  • Background in non-clinical areas such as education, leadership, and research.
  • Experience in delivering training programs and facilitating group discussions.

Desirable:

  • Teaching qualification.
