About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients, including medication management and therapy optimization.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of our pharmacy department.
  • Provide training and supervision to junior pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Pharmacy (MPharm)
  • Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Has successfully completed a minimum of one year of a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy and studying/prepared to study for Postgraduate Clinical Pharmacy Diploma / MSc or equivalent Qualification or evidence of equivalent experience or training
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Completed a Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent advanced practice supported by training
  • Member of the RPSGB
  • Member of the UKCPA
