Advanced Clinical Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust. As a key member of our Clinical Pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our junior pharmacists.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical pharmacy, with experience in a variety of clinical areas, including acute medicine, critical care, and antimicrobial stewardship. You will be responsible for providing clinical pharmacy services, including medication management, patient education, and clinical decision-making. You will also be expected to contribute to the development of our junior pharmacists, providing training and support to help them achieve their full potential.

- Participate in clinical decision-making and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
- Contribute to the development of our pharmacy department, including the implementation of new services and initiatives
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Clinical Pharmacist who possesses the following qualities:
- Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent qualification
- Experience in a variety of clinical areas, including acute medicine, critical care, and antimicrobial stewardship
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
