About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Specialist Pharmacist to join our team at University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust. As a Clinical Specialist Pharmacist, you will play a key role in providing expert clinical pharmacy services to patients and staff across the trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical pharmacy services to patients and staff, including medication management and optimization.
  • Develop and implement clinical pharmacy services to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and education to junior pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Pharmacy (MPharm)
  • Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Has successfully completed a minimum of one year of a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy and studying/prepared to study for Postgraduate Clinical Pharmacy Diploma / MSc or equivalent Qualification or evidence of equivalent experience or training
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Completed a Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent advanced practice supported by training
  • Member of the RPSGB
  • Member of the UKCPA
