About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Pharmacist Specialist to join our team at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust. As a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients across various specialties, including acute medicine, critical care, and haematology/oncology.
  • Develop and implement clinical pharmacy programs to improve patient outcomes and optimize medication use.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care and support.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures.
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Pharmacy (MPharm).
  • Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Has successfully completed a minimum of one year of a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy and studying/prepared to study for Postgraduate Clinical Pharmacy Diploma / MSc or equivalent Qualification or evidence of equivalent experience or training.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Completed a Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent advanced practice supported by training.
  • Member of the RPSGB.
  • Member of the UKCPA.
