As a Depot Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Defining market targets for workshops within the framework of performance goals, and collaborating with company management to develop a corresponding annual plan.
  • Managing cost control for the department.
  • Creating and maintaining a resource plan for the workshop, and developing strategies and measures for load optimization.
  • Ensuring proper planning for facilities, bays, machines, tools, and diagnostic installations; optimizing workplace and process design.
  • Preparing plans and calculations for investments in workshops, facilities, and HR in conjunction with company management.
  • Determining HR resource requirements, recruiting new staff, and developing an induction plan.
  • Managing, coaching, and motivating employees to ensure high-quality performance. Setting business objectives and personal development goals with employees and monitoring performance against agreed targets.
  • Monitoring the regional market for new competitors and conducting competitive analyses and benchmarking in Services.
  • Using external analyses to perform internal evaluations to maintain market competitiveness.
  • Conducting performance analyses to identify areas of weakness and implementing targeted marketing activities.
  • Ensuring the correct completion of Vehicle Health Checks, upsell conversions, and follow-up on unsold or deferred work processes.
  • Ensuring all technical test equipment and tools are available and ready for use.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in workshops and ensuring quality control of all completed tasks.
