We are looking for Trainee Drivers, to join our team of HGV and 4x4 Drivers across the UK. You'll receive a blend of both practical experience and classroom based training.

Our Trainee Driver Programme is a 12 month plan designed to implement fundamental knowledge, required skills & competencies and create the next generation of drivers. Trainees are assigned a full-time buddy throughout the programme to gain on the job knowledge and skills whilst also receiving regular training

The training programme covers the key areas that will make you a safe and competent driver for the 21st Century, this includes:
- Fuel efficient driving
Driving hours and Tachographs
Damage reduction
Outstanding customer service
Incident management
Safe loading skills
Vulnerable road users
Using technology to improve performance.

**Key tasks will include**:

- Acting as an ambassador and ensuring compliance with all legislative requirements and all internal quality, health, safety and environmental policies and standards
- Conducting daily safety/operational checks including ancillary equipment in line with company policy
- Operating access equipment in accordance with Company Policies & Code of Practice, using appropriate tools
- Providing a high standard of customer service
- Accurately completing all relevant paperwork & records as required
- Reporting all incidents/accidents promptly in accordance with Company reporting process.
- Conducting all Load/Unload activities and maintaining load security in line with Legal, Company & Manufacturer policies & guidelines
- Providing familiarisation & handover of products to Customers, and recording of machine condition in accordance with Company Policy
- Complying with company policy regarding proof of delivery to customers (use of PDA where issued)
- Conducting site risk assessments and method statements as defined by Company & Customer policies.
