At Norwich we champion transdisciplinary making and creating using traditional, digital and new emerging technologies. To support this, we provide a range of high-quality workshops and technical resources where students can explore material and digital thinking to succeed in their creative ambitions.

Our printmaking studios are equipped with a variety resources for students to engage and experiment with a variety of traditional analogue and digital printmaking techniques. You will join a highly skilled team of technicians providing support to a range of courses, including Illustration, Graphic Design and Fine Art.

As an Associate Technician in the printmaking studios, you will support students with a variety of professional printmaking processes including relief, intaglio, and silkscreen that encompass both software and hands-on practical skills. The role will contribute to the day-to-day operation of the studios.

You will work alongside students as they develop their knowledge and technical skills and support academic colleagues in teaching and learning activities and research within the University.

The successful candidate will be a skilled and committed individual with proven experience, knowledge, and competency of printmaking processes.

Above all we're looking for a talented and motivated printmaker who can support those working on a variety of exciting projects and encourage our students to experiment with materials and processes which they can apply to their creative practice.
