On is hiring a leader who will manage the inventory allocation, placement and distribution strategies for the Americas region, having a direct & tangible impact on the financial performance at On.

In this role, you will partner directly with senior leaders in regional and global Supply Chain, Finance, and Compliance teams to shape the processes and procedures for how On allocates inventory within and across geographies, rebalances inventory to maximize order fulfillment opportunities and ensures accurate accounting for inventory within the distribution network.

You will be responsible for leading all efforts related to how inventory supports the Sales cycle for current and future seasons, ensuring that inventory is placed appropriately to maximize customer satisfaction.

You will be a key piece of the Regional Operations portfolio, partnering with internal and external partners to make effective decisions to maximize inventory turn & utilization of stock.

Your Mission

  • You will develop, implement and measure inventory placement strategies that maximize order satisfaction, warehouse capacity, cost, time in transit and overall network utilization.
  • You will be the primary voice of the regional inventory perspective to our global Supply & Demand Planning organizations, influencing & shaping the longrange planning landscape to bridge capacity and business growth objectives
  • You will lead integral worksteams that ensure that our inventory control strategies and programs satisfy the legal & operational requirements for each country within the Americas region, and will drive operational improvement as needed.
  • You will drive the creation and implementation of product quality initiatives, SOPs and accountability standards internally and with external handling partners.
  • You will lead a team who is responsible for monitoring, measuring and actioning inventory balance needs that support our multichannel strategy. Your team is responsible and accountable for increasing transparency and understanding opportunities for optimization.
  • You will manage the assessment of strategic initiatives to drive overall improvement in accuracy of inventory effectiveness & accuracy.
  • You will provide direction and ensure accountability within your team who will be responsible conducting and documenting process walkthroughs and related narratives, with a focus on internal controls and SOX compliance
  • You will champion the internal processes and expectations for inventory grading standards implementing, monitoring and refining programs to balance financial and customer experience expectations
Your Story

  • 6+ years of experience in leading network optimization and/or inventory placement strategies (Demand Planning, Inventory Control, S&OP, etc.)
  • 2+ years of experience leading highperforming teams
  • You have working knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance/control, systems and audits with extensive knowledge in (US) GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
  • You have excellent data analytics skills with knowledge in statistical methods and the ability to combine classical metrics with innovative storytelling
  • Knowledge of operational, and business processes, ERP systems (preferably Microsoft D365) and/or other financial applications
  • You have a continuous improvement mindset able to adjust to manage multiple complex projects, prioritize tasks, and develop clear forwardlooking strategic roadmaps for implementation through ambiguous situations
