As a Senior Pediatric Nursing Specialist in our Pediatric Neurorehabilitation and Complex Care Unit, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of the department. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding and mentoring junior nursing staff, as well as taking the lead in the absence of the Charge Nurse.

Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks, from formulating comprehensive care plans for children in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to engaging in quality enhancement initiatives. At our facility, you will be provided with the necessary time and resources to advance and thrive in your professional journey.

Essential Qualifications:

Registered Nurse (RN) with a focus on Pediatric care and immediate pediatric life support certification Prior experience in Pediatric Neurorehabilitation and complex care Knowledge of Safeguarding principles Excellent communication and mentoring abilities Proficiency in clinical governance and audit processes Preferred experience with tracheostomised patients Previous experience in supervising and evaluating students
