Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse to join our team at London Bridge Hospital. As a PICU Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading a team of nurses in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop individualized care plans for patients in the PICU
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
  • Extensive experience in a PICU setting
  • Completion of a PICU course equivalent to 60 credits
  • Shift lead experience in a Cardiac PICU
  • Teaching and mentorship qualification
  • PILS/EPLS certification
