The Operational Solutions function is a key conduit between Operations, Technology, the business and its support functions and drives architectural change based on comprehensive analysis and documentation.
The team sits within Investment Operations and comprises of dedicated project managers and business analysts
Its objectives are:
- To focus on project delivery, operational process efficiency and the control environment. Examples of project types are new system implementation; asset class launches and operational efficiencies/automation.
- To provide technical/analytical support for the BAU teams within Investment Operations, as an alternative to the core technology teams, utilising skills such as Python, Tableau and automation.
We are looking for a Project Manager with both the technical and the business experience to understand and manage projects, from initiation through to implementation.
Responsibilities
- Perform market analysis to stay ahead of key industry, regulatory, and technology trends, assessing their relevance and potential impact on the organization;
- Manage large-scale, cross-functional projects with a focus on enhancing Investment Operations;
- Build and maintain credibility with senior stakeholders, effectively influencing key decisions;
- Analyse complex issues to provide viable solutions;
Solutions Delivery:
Develop and own the implementation of your solutions in partnership with: operations, technology, vendors and other functions
- Ensure all processes adhere to audit requirements and internal control standards;
- Stay informed on compliance and regulatory data obligations, managing their impact accordingly;
- Utilize strong analytical skills to understand a diverse range of products and the entirety of complex workflows, maintaining a meticulous and controlled approach;
- Prioritize tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment;
Required Experience
- 5 years+ projects, programme, and change experience
- Experience with regulatory change and outsourced operations relationships
- Broad asset class knowledge
- Abilities across a comprehensive range of Microsoft applications and industry systems
- Methodical approach to problem solving with meticulous attention to detail
