As a Mears Apprentice you will be paid above the national minimum wage and be paid for your normal working hours plus time to do your college work with the opportunity to get real life experiences such as working in people's homes, getting involved in community projects and improving people's lives by being customer focused. The apprenticeship will take around 16 months to complete and result in gaining your NVQ level 2 in customer service.

About the role:

As a Business support apprentice, you will be developing within the role guided by your mentor. The role will be based within our Planning team working from our branch in Spennymoor and will be working along side the operational team supporting our tenants and service users. You will be involved in a wide range of activities including Planning, using this information to support The operatives and clients.

Key Criteria:

  • GCSEs minimum grade 4 in Maths and English
  • Good Communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office, Excel, outlook, Word etc
