If so, Milestone Education is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant in SEND to work with a partnered school in Birmingham.

Contract: Mon - Fri, 8:30AM - 3:30PM - Term Time Only

Salary: Final salary based on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure an inclusive environment by providing personalised support for students with diverse educational needs and disabilities.
  • Monitor student progress and contribute to EHCP assessments.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and specialists to enhance students' academic and personal development.
  • Encourage student involvement in school activities and facilitate social interactions.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and provide support during crises.

Requirements:

  • Must possess an Enhanced DBS check.
  • Previous experience within a school setting is required.
  • A QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or relevant teaching or education qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • An understanding of children's development needs.
  • Ability to work as part of a supportive and encouraging team.
