Job Description

Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant - SEND Support

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team in the Enhanced Provision classroom. The successful candidate will provide support to our high-needs SEND pupils and work collaboratively with our teaching staff to deliver high-quality interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group support to SEND pupils in the Enhanced Provision classroom
  • Develop and deliver evidence-based interventions to support pupil progress
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to plan and deliver lessons
  • Assist with the assessment and monitoring of pupil progress
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English grade C or above
  • Higher-Level Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • Experience of planning, delivering, and evaluating interventions
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve
  • Good interpersonal skills and a commitment to teamwork
