About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Birmingham. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students and teachers in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with their learning and development
  • Working closely with teachers to deliver lessons and activities
  • Managing challenging behavior and providing a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Assisting with small group work and one-to-one support

Requirements:

  • Qualification in education or a related field
  • Experience working with children and young people
  • Ability to manage challenging behavior and provide a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Desirable: experience of working with students with SEND
