About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Vacancies. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students, particularly in Key Stage 1.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers in the planning, delivery, and assessment of lessons to ensure students receive a high-quality education.
  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs, ensuring they have access to the same opportunities as their peers.
  • Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting students with diverse needs.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Level 3 NVQ Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience working with young people, particularly in a primary school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and other staff members.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing workload to meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
