We are looking for a European Regulatory Policy Manager to contribute to the delivery of European regulatory policy, advocacy, and intelligence activities to enable the advancement and life cycle management of GSK's biopharmaceutical portfolio, particularly Vaccines. You will contribute to Global Regulatory Affairs (GRA) activities aimed at influencing the global regulatory environment and support the interface between local operating companies and GRA in support of regulatory policy and intelligence activities.

In this role you will

  • Provide interpretation, advice, and perspectives on the possible impact on GSK of regional legislation, guidelines, and policies for assigned topics in support of the GSK biopharmaceutical portfolio
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of plans and actions to influence regulatory opinion leaders in the external environment, working in collaboration with others as appropriate
  • Interact, as required, with key regulatory agencies, governments, and trade associations (e.g., Vaccines Europe) in Europe on assigned topic areas
  • Participate on behalf of GSK/trade associations at key regulatory agency, industry, and trade association meetings
  • Maintain awareness of regulatory trends regionally and their impact globally to be able to anticipate potential impact to national legislations
  • Build and maintain links with key external stakeholders and networks including regulatory agencies, governments, and trade associations
  • Liaise with central GRA teams to discuss and interpret emerging intelligence for the region, participating in specific GRA implementation teams to address major legislative changes as required
  • Provide good quality, timely, and comprehensive regulatory intelligence activities for assigned topics/region to support business requirements
  • May be a member of the Regulatory Intelligence matrix led by the Head Regulatory Intelligence Systems.

  • Translate complex regulations into simple messages that articulate the impact to the business
  • Knowledge of drug and vaccine development process and laws, regulations, and practices affecting the biopharmaceutical industry in the region
  • Skilled at working and delivering in matrix teams.
