Compensation Analyst

The Compensation Analyst is a newly created position that will play a key part in supporting the Senior Manager, Group Total Reward in embedding the reward function within SEGA and its studios. You'll directly influence the development of our reward strategies by providing data-driven insights and analysis, ensuring we remain competitive and equitable.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular benchmarking exercises for new hires, job changes, and the annual salary review process to ensure accurate compensation data.
- Participate in annual compensation surveys to ensure accuracy in job and level matches, and provide valuable insights to inform business decisions.
- Review, analyze, and report on internal and external compensation data to inform the business of market changes and trends, and ensure alignment with industry standards.
- Conduct regular reviews of the SEGA salary ranges to ensure alignment with market data, and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
- Support the development of the SEGA Job Architecture/levelling framework, including building out job descriptions and competency frameworks, to ensure a clear and consistent approach to compensation.
- Collaborate with the HR Business Partnering teams to ensure accurate job categorization and salary positioning of employees, and provide guidance on compensation-related matters.
- Analyze internal salary data to ensure internal equity and compliance with equal pay, and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
- Support in delivering the annual pay review and bonus processes, and ensure timely and accurate compensation data is maintained.
- Maintain compensation data within the HRIS (Workday), including upkeep of data such as salary ranges and job profiles, and perform audits and data integrity checks to ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Assist in the implementation and compliance with upcoming EU Pay Transparency directives, and ensure SEGA remains compliant with all relevant regulations.
- Contribute to the preparation and delivery of reports, including Gender Pay Gap reporting, to ensure regulatory compliance and provide valuable management insights.
- Support with ad-hoc projects, and work alongside the Payroll & Benefits Coordinator in delivering employee benefits.
- Proven experience in a reward role, with a strong understanding of compensation principles and practices.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date compensation data.
- Process-driven, with the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
