Your mission will be to minimize Vodafone's exposure to cyber risks by gathering, analyzing, and distributing cyber intelligence to proactively counter threats. The Cyber Intelligence Specialist operates at the core of Vodafone's Global Cyber Defence organization within the Cyber Defence Threat Unit (CTU).

The CTU's mission is to safeguard Vodafone and its clientele from cyber security threats by delivering actionable intelligence that aids in the prevention, detection, and disruption of relevant malicious cyber activities.

You will engage with leading intelligence feeds, technical data, and our proprietary Threat Intelligence Platform, contributing to a broader initiative to protect Vodafone, its customers, and Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) from cybercriminals and other malicious online entities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support cyber security intelligence assessments, delivering actionable recommendations to stakeholders across technical, managerial, and executive levels.
  • Take charge of our intelligence collection, triage, and timely dissemination to stakeholders, analyzing and communicating trend data to enhance Vodafone's understanding of the cyber threat landscape, supporting Incident Response, and addressing Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Investigate threats, Indicators of Compromise (IoCs), and threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) to support Threat Hunting, Signature Development, and the Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP) process.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative technical intelligence sharing with credible external entities and coordinate a global intelligence sharing community with Vodafone operating companies.
  • Collaborate with Incident Response teams as necessary, providing cyber intelligence support during ongoing incidents.
Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in a cyber threat intelligence role, defending a large organization against high-level threat actors.
  • Proficient in threat intelligence trend analysis and providing data to management for Key Performance Indicator (KPI) evaluation.
  • Able to mentor colleagues who are at earlier stages in their career development.
  • Skilled in generating clear, concise, evidence-based reports, analyses, and presentations for a range of stakeholders, from technical analysts to senior management.
