Role Title: Cybersecurity Intelligence Analyst
Location: Hybrid Work Environment

Role Overview

At Vodafone Global Cyber Security, we are dedicated to ensuring our clients remain secure and resilient against the backdrop of increasingly complex cyber threats. We provide a distinctive blend of robust networks, enterprise-grade cloud solutions, advanced security frameworks, and expert guidance, all aimed at mitigating risks associated with a mobile workforce, including financial losses, regulatory infractions, and personal safety threats, while promoting productivity and employee satisfaction.
By joining us as a Cybersecurity Intelligence Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our Cyber Security capabilities. The future is promising. Are you ready?
Your mission will be to minimize Vodafone's exposure to cyber risks by gathering, analyzing, and distributing cyber intelligence to proactively counter threats. The Cyber Intelligence Analyst operates at the core of Vodafone's Global Cyber Defence organization within the Cyber Defence Threat Unit (CTU).
The CTU's mission is to safeguard Vodafone and its clientele from cyber security threats by delivering actionable intelligence that aids in the prevention, detection, and disruption of relevant malicious cyber activities.
You will be positioned at the forefront of Vodafone's Cyber Defence, with access to industry-leading intelligence feeds, technical data, and our proprietary Threat Intelligence Platform.
You will collaborate with a team dedicated to a broader initiative aimed at protecting Vodafone, its customers, and Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) from cybercriminals and other harmful online entities.

Key Responsibilities

Primary duties and decision-making authority:

Lead and support cyber security intelligence triage, deliver cyber security evaluations, and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders across technical, managerial, and executive levels. Take a proactive role in our intelligence gathering, triage, and timely communication to stakeholders. You will engage in compiling, analyzing, and conveying trend data from our intelligence collection to enhance Vodafone's comprehension of the relevant cyber threat landscape; support Incident Response; and address Requests for Information (RFIs). Investigate threats, Indicators of Compromise (IoCs), and threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) to bolster Threat Hunting, Signature Development, and Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP) processes. Your ability to assess and refine available technical intelligence feeds will be highly valued. Establish and maintain collaborative technical intelligence sharing with credible external entities and coordinate with Vodafone operating companies to foster a global intelligence sharing community. Collaborate with and assist Incident Response teams as necessary, providing cyber intelligence support during ongoing incidents.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Essential competencies, knowledge, and experience:

A demonstrated history of working within a cyber threat intelligence team and defending a large organization against top-tier threat actors. Experience and capability in threat intelligence trend analysis and providing data to management to support Key Performance Indicator (KPI) assessments. The capacity to serve as a capable and supportive mentor to colleagues who are less experienced or at an earlier stage in their career development. Ability to produce clear and concise evidence-based reports, analyses, and presentations for stakeholders ranging from technical CSOC analysts to managers and, occasionally, the Senior Leadership Team.
