This role will lead the definition, direction, supervision, and coordination of the implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of Data Governance and Business AI across ScottishPower. Coordinating the collaboration of the business and Digital Transformation teams (Digital Solutions, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, and external suppliers) to ensure the appropriate selection of Data and AI governance models and practices, which are key to the execution of processes, and therefore to the Group's competitiveness.

This person will establish and implement processes and procedures to ensure the safe use of AI and data governance based on a common language that guarantees the necessary interoperability to be able to exploit data for decision-making with reliability and quality.

A key initiative will be to improve our digital positioning and implement a digitalisation roadmap in line with the pace of growth and the changing environment, with a Data-Driven model, and secure management of AI solutions.

What you'll be doing

You'll lead the definition, management, implementation, and supervision of the criteria necessary for the implementation of the Data and AI policies, supporting the creation of Digital Business Plans around Data and AI.

Within this role, you'll lead the definition and implementation of initiatives to boost the implementation of Digital Culture in all areas and countries, coordinating the development and implementation of digital solutions and infrastructures and guaranteeing the positioning and digital evolution in the frameworks of Data and AI.

A key part of this role will be to establish with Business and IT managers their short-, medium- and long-term objectives for the implementation of Data Governance and AI solutions, along with the coordination and consolidation of the management of a single AI inventory in a consistent manner and across all business lines to ensure the implementation of solutions with the following objectives: minimising costs and maximising efficiency and return on investment, ensuring security and reducing risk, establishing the necessary mechanisms for value-based prioritisation, and seeking best practices for the implementation of accurate data management and secure AI management.

There will be a presentation of the digitisation follow-ups within the framework of AI and Data to the area managers of each business and leading the strategy of standardisation of IT solutions at international level to ensure efficiency, synergies, and operational cost savings.

What you'll bring Expert in the implementation and management of Information Technology with a focus on AI and DATA Governance. Management of highly complex international IT teams and projects with a focus on AI and DATA Governance. Management and Oversight of AI and DATA Governance Agile work methodologies, SCRUM and KANBAN Knowledge of disruptive and innovative digital technologies with a focus on AI and DATA Governance. Knowledge of the business processes of Electric Utilities and their Digital deployment in their business areas (Customer Business, Networks, Renewables, Energy Trading and Corporate Areas. Knowledge of policy and regulation associated with AI and DATA. Knowledge of change management methodologies associated with AI and DATA.
