About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Delivery Manager to join our team at the Scottish Government. As a key member of our Programme Management and Delivery Division, you will play a crucial role in delivering complex digital and business services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage key elements of the delivery across the programme, leading multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex digital and business services.
  • Drive forward progress at pace and to agreed timescales, managing competing priorities, breaking down barriers for the team, and both planning at a higher level and at detail to ensure key deliverables are met on time.
  • Work alongside Product Owners to plan and manage your team's delivery, ensuring alignment with the wider programme plans.
  • Lead and drive planning at both team and programme level, ensuring alignment between both - developing clear, pragmatic and manageable plans.
  • Ensure that accurate planning and estimation enables capacity against demand to be efficiently delivered for your workstream.
  • Become an expert and an advocate for Agile change, inspiring and leading with these principles across the programme.
  • Coach and mentor team members to apply the most appropriate agile and lean tools and techniques (inc. working with the Community of Practice and the agile coaches).
