About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Digital Planning Director to lead our AI Governance efforts at Iberdrola Renewables. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining, implementing, and supervising the criteria necessary for the successful implementation of our Data and AI policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the definition and implementation of Data Governance and AI strategies across the organization.
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to establish short-, medium-, and long-term objectives for the implementation of Data Governance and AI solutions.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure the safe use of AI and data governance based on a common framework.
  • Establish and maintain a single AI inventory across all business lines to ensure the implementation of solutions with the following objectives: minimising costs and maximising efficiency and return on investment, ensuring security and reducing risk, establishing the necessary mechanisms for value-based prioritisation, and seeking best practices for the implementation of accurate data management and secure AI management.
  • Present digitisation follow-ups within the framework of AI and Data to area managers of each business and lead the strategy of standardisation of IT solutions at international level to ensure efficiency, synergies, and operational cost savings.
Requirements
  • Expert in the implementation and management of Information Technology with a focus on AI and DATA Governance.
  • Management of highly complex international IT teams and projects with a focus on AI and DATA Governance.
  • Management and Oversight of AI and DATA Governance.
  • Agile work methodologies, SCRUM and KANBAN.
  • Knowledge of disruptive and innovative digital technologies with a focus on AI and DATA Governance.
  • Knowledge of the business processes of Electric Utilities and their Digital deployment in their business areas (Customer Business, Networks, Renewables, Energy Trading and Corporate Areas).
  • Knowledge of policy and regulation associated with AI and DATA.
  • Knowledge of change management methodologies associated with AI and DATA.
