Are you an experienced fostering social worker seeking a new opportunity?

Leaders in Care are working with a highly regarded Independent Fostering Agency in the East Midlands, for an experienced practitioner to join their established service as a Supervising Social Worker.

Leaders in Care are offering £35/h for this role.

The benefits include a manageable caseload of between 7-10, as well as no out of hours working or form Fs, allowing you to dedicate the necessary time to each case and provide the best service to children and families. Additionally, flexible working arrangements are available including the option of a 9-day fortnight to help you maintain that all important work-life balance.

As well as the above, you can expect to join a highly supportive and collaborative team, who are always on hand for a second opinion and any support as and when needed, making you feel like a longstanding team member from day 1.

You also, don't have to worry about busy city centre traffic, as their beautiful barn converted office is in a nice rural location, making it a pleasure to drive into work day-to-day.

As a supervising social worker, you will also be responsible for supporting and managing approved foster carers, providing professional advice when necessary, and contributing to business planning. Additionally, you will supervise Support Workers and Social Work Students.

For this role, you do require a social work qualification & registration to Social Work England.
