Role Overview

As an Eating Disorders Therapist at First Steps ED, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients on their journey to recovery. You will provide evidence-based therapy, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
  • Educate clients and their families about eating disorders, treatment options, and recovery strategies.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, dietitians, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Monitor client progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
