Pay: up to £45,000 plus benefits and paid enhancements
Hours - Full Time - Flexible working pattern
Contract - Permanent

MediTalent Group are recruiting on behalf of several private hospitals and clinics in and around the London area for theatre practitioners/ODPs to work withing the theatres teams. The settings will be modern, state of the art, private hospitals or clinics.

Each hospital will work with a wide range of elective specialties including ENT, Ophthalmology, cosmetics, plastics, urology, gynae, general surgeries, minor & major orthopaedics. Some hospitals will also run some NHS lists too.

Must have a valid NMC or HCPC pin number and be based in the UK with at least 12 months UK theatre experience*

Requirements:

  • HCPC/NMC pin
  • Based in the UK with at least 12 months UK theatre experience
  • Attainment of relevant specialist qualification / knowledge
  • Previous experience within scrub
  • A good team player
  • Organised and ability to plan


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a consistently high standard of patient care utilizing evidence-based practice
  • Assess, plan, deliver and implement excellent perioperative patient care by demonstrating
  • Safe, clinical decision-making and expert care.
  • Prepare equipment and instruments according to Surgeon's preference cards
  • Ensure all equipment is checked prior to use and fault reporting
  • Liaise with Sterile Services - cleaning and processing instrument sets
  • Preparation and support of patients under Local/Regional/General Anaesthetics.
