About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Care Practitioner to join our team at London Bridge Hospital, a leading healthcare provider in the UK. As a Surgical Care Practitioner, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our theatre team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert care to patients undergoing cardiac surgery, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
  • Work collaboratively with the theatre team to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of theatre policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Registration as a healthcare professional (e.g. nurse or ODP) with a related honours degree.
  • Recent experience in theatre nursing, preferably in a cardiac care setting.
  • 18 months working within a similar autonomous role is desirable.
