Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Anaesthetic Practitioner to join our team at Stonor Medical. As an Anaesthetic Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting our theatre team and ensuring the smooth delivery of anaesthetic services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and organisation of the theatres: You will work closely with our theatre team to ensure that all necessary equipment and resources are available for clinical procedures.
  • Participate in the delivery of care: You will work alongside our anaesthetic team to deliver high-quality care to patients undergoing anaesthetic procedures.
  • Ensure equipment safety and effectiveness: You will be responsible for checking and maintaining all anaesthetic equipment to ensure it is safe and effective for use.
  • Administer controlled drugs: You will be responsible for the administration of controlled drugs in accordance with our policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with the team: You will work closely with our theatre and ward staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: You must be a qualified nurse or ODP with a valid PIN number and no restrictions.
  • Experience: You must have at least 2 years of experience working in a theatre or anaesthetic setting.
  • Skills: You must have excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
