Working as a key member of, and reporting to the COO, the CIO will manage the University's IT infrastructure as well as its data and digital assets, including business-as-usual service delivery and improvement; development; enterprise systems; and infrastructure maintenance and renewal.

Leading a large and diverse team, you will drive change to foster a culture of exceptional customer experience, positive stakeholder engagement and agility to respond dynamically to ever changing opportunities and challenges, with overall accountability, in terms of quality, cost and effectiveness.

They will also design, implement, and drive a new operating model for the Directorate, realigning roles and responsibilities and building significant stakeholder engagement.

The CIO will also oversee the information security risk, ensuring the University's cyber defences safeguard the infrastructure and assets against malicious cyber threats.

You will be innovative, ambitious and solutions-focused with drive and enthusiasm to make a positive impact in what is a vitally important sector. A sector that will rely heavily on appropriate technology support and development in order to flourish.

This full-time post is on an indefinite basis.
