We are in search of a Director of Information Security for the UK to spearhead the continuous improvement of operational processes within the team and the overall security framework.
This role is ideal for an existing CISO who thrives on collaboration with various stakeholders, possesses a robust understanding of risk management, and is eager for a new challenge to demonstrate their expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Director of Information Security for the UK, you will lead and engage in various projects and initiatives, ensuring timely execution, high-quality outcomes, and effective management of UK subsidiary organizations. It is crucial to manage the Business Partnering teams by establishing consistent, high-quality processes and practices across all areas of the team. Furthermore, you will be responsible for reporting on the efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance of UK security processes and controls, identifying potential risks or issues, and implementing appropriate corrective measures while acting as the delegate for the UK CISO.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams and projects, achieving successful results through collaboration and influence.
- Comprehensive knowledge of cybersecurity principles, standards, and frameworks.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders and convey information effectively to both security and non-security audiences.
- Strong customer-centric approach, with a deep understanding of user needs and expectations.
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
