Learning & Development Channel & Learning Lead – EMEA/APAC, VP - Based in London

Position Summary:
You are a key player in shaping and executing a Learning & Development Strategy for the Global Institutional business at Nuveen. Teaming up with US and International Sales Leaders, your mission is to boost knowledge of Nuveen products, asset classes, competitive landscape, regulations, and business practices. Your focus includes enhancing selling skills and adopting advanced skills (The Nuveen Way) that drive organizational success. As the lead for EMEA and APAC, your expertise in the institutional business and top-notch client engagement will help harmonize our offerings with the Global Client Group's demands. Collaborating with stakeholders from Nuveen, TIAA, Investments, and Marketing, you will oversee all relevant learning and development initiatives. A background in Learning & Development or Sales Effectiveness/Enablement is ideal, with a knack for problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct learning needs analyses, draft an educational strategy and business plan for EMEA and APAC Institutional business
- Implement a strategic plan to embed The Nuveen Way in client engagement and sales processes
- Design learning journeys, assessments, and action plans for sales roles, coaching teams on best practices
- Collaborate with various business units to deliver educational solutions aligned with Nuveen products and market insights
- Enhance the Client Enquiries Database for easy access to product information and best practices
- Develop expertise in the firm's investment strategies and capabilities for global markets
- Deliver training for new hires in the Global Institutional and Americas business channels
- Oversee external learning service providers to ensure quality
- Utilize technology to deploy learning solutions globally
- Occasional travel to build stronger relationships in different markets
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Background in financial services or investments
- Experience in Learning & Development or instructional design
- Experience with institutional clients is advantageous
- Supervision/management skills are a plus
- Excellent relationship-building across cultures and regions
- Sales background or sales effectiveness experience preferred
- Project management expertise
- Strong organization skills
- Proven track record in training and assessment programs
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Collaborative spirit across different business areas
- Important: Role involves global team collaboration with flexible working hours
TRAVEL:
- Expected travel around 10% under normal conditions, including international trips
