The Digital Pathology Program Manager for Leica Biosystems is responsible for the development of Digital Pathology implementation project plans, regular project review meetings, issuing of project minutes, assigning actions, and regularly updating Project Plans to ensure successful delivery of Digital Pathology Implementation projects across EMEA.

You will also be responsible for working with key stakeholders to resolve issues, ensure task completion by establishing priorities and countermeasures with team members and functional managers to make critical decisions to ensure timely completion, project signoff and project success.

This position is part of the EMEA Digital Pathology organization and will be a fully remote role based within the UK. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

You will be a part of the EMEA Digital Pathology Support & Implementation Team and report to the Senior Service Manager Digital Pathology EMEA responsible for implementing best in class Digital Pathology service support in the Pathological healthcare system. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide timely delivery of projects within agreed scope for Digital Pathology implementation projects.
  • Partner with Management Team and Project Team to provide solutions to support project delivery.
  • Provide leadership to build and deliver robust and detailed project plans.
  • Define and monitor project activities to achieve the required delivery and quality.
  • Reporting and escalation to project sponsored of project progress, risks, countermeasures, and issues.
  • Develop and deploy standard work for site project management using Danaher Business System principles to provide reliable and consistent delivery of required results.
  • Mentor, coach and ensure career development for future talent

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Experienced using Project management tools including MS project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams sites or Trello.
  • PMP/Prince2 certification is highly desirable.
  • Solid track record of ability to deliver projects on time, in full and within budget.
  • Outstanding communication skills (verbal/written/presentation/relationship building)
  • High levels of initiative, self-motivation and energy
  • Language Skills – additional languages would be beneficial.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Leica Biosystems (LBS) digital pathology platform and/or 3rd party digital pathology platforms.
