We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced German speaking Project Manager to join our EMEA team remotely. You'll be accountable for the development of Digital Pathology and Cerebro Implementation Project Plans, regular project review meetings, issuing of project minutes and actions and regular update of Project Plans and successful delivery of Digital Pathology and Cerebro Implementation projects, working with broad cross-functional teams across EMEA. Responsible for working with key stakeholders to resolve issues, ensure task completion by establishing priorities and countermeasures with team members and functional managers to make critical decisions to ensure timely completion, project signoff and project success.

Major Responsibilities

  • Fully accountable for timely delivery of projects within agreed scope for Digital Pathology and Cerebro Implementation Projects.
  • Effective Partnering with Management Team and Project team to provide solutions to support project delivery.
  • Provide leadership to project teams to build and deliver robust and detailed project plans.
  • Identifying and monitoring project activities to achieve the required delivery and quality through:
    • Effective review of project proposals and plans; conferring with management and development of project objectives
    • Determining project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements and assigning personnel to phases and activities
    • Ensuring clear alignment and delivery of project milestones.
  • Responsible for clear and concise reporting and escalation to project sponsor of project progress, risks, countermeasures and issues
  • Development and deployment of standard work for site project management using Danaher Business System principles to provide reliable and consistent delivery of required results.
  • Development and mentor of staff and relevant partners to increase overall project management and delivery capabilities.
  • Mentor, coach and ensure career development for future talent
  • Ensuring Quality, Regulatory and Environmental, Health and Safety Policies are coordinated into project standard work.

Experience: Proven and relevant experience of successful delivery of multifunctional programmes including new product delivery and manufacturing operations, or people management experience

Language: English and German and other local language dependent on location preferable

Skills

  • Experience of using Project management tools including MS project, excel, power point, SharePoint, team sites or Trello
  • PMP/Prince2 certification is highly desirable
  • Solid track record of ability to deliver projects on time, in full and within budget.
  • Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills
  • Outstanding communication skills (verbal/written/presentation/relationship building)
  • High levels of initiative, self-motivation and energy
  • Able to spot complexity and understand approaches to manage it
  • Able to form effective and lasting networks with colleagues across functions
  • Rapid learning ability to deal with sophisticated and novel situations
  • Hands-on mentality with a strong ability to get into detail as necessary.
  • High levels of integrity, confidence, independence and collaboration skills

Travel: Occasional Travelling may be required to customer sites, and to meet with local team members to confirm and develop Project Plans. Up to 10% of your time could be spent travelling.
