The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for a Head of Skincare & Wellness Brands to oversee the strategic direction and operational execution of our skincare and wellness brand portfolio in the UK market. The successful candidate will drive brands growth, enhance market presence, and ensure exceptional retail performance.

Reporting into the PUIG UK VP, this role leads a team including operational marketing & communications, education, and sell-out across both own stores and wholesale locations. The Head of Skincare & Wellness Brands will focus on enhancing brand awareness and desirability leading to ambitious market share growth year on year, as well as improve productivity by retail location, maintaining high performance standards, and fostering strong relationships with key brand and retail partners. The ideal candidate will possess a dynamic blend of strategic thinking, marketing acumen, operational excellence and team leadership capabilities.

What you'll get to do


• Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies to drive business and market share growth via awareness and brand desirability increase.

• Ensure consistent, impactful and meaningful brand representation across all marketing and retail initiatives.

• Identify and define the best business model for the managed portfolio of brands, including market implications and growth opportunities.

• Lead and coordinate marketing, education and retail managers to align on brand messaging and ensure smart retail execution.

• Build and enhance CRM and loyalty programs to capture valuable customer data, utilising data insights to drive customer engagement and retention strategies.

• Implement strategic changes to ensure sustained growth and market relevance.

• Keep abreast of trends and changes in the outside retail environment, informing the business about changing market dynamics and potential opportunities.

• Drive retail sales across own stores and wholesale locations through strategic planning and execution.

• With the retail manager, define strategy to drive productivity by door across all retailers, ensuring optimal performance and growth, and ensure their efficient roll-out.

• Create engaging shopping experiences and collaborate with retail partners to maximize sales opportunities, enhance store layouts, etc.

• Oversee retail teams, ensuring they receive the necessary education and support to meet performance targets.

• Secure new retail partnerships, and focus on retaining and growing relationships with high-value partners such as Harrods / department stores and Space NK.

• Lead, inspire, and mentor a high performing team and develop them to have a unified vision embracing the company values.

• Work cross-functionally with local and global teams to optimise the consumer journey across all different touch points, driving acquisition and increasing conversion.

• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop talent.

• Experience in brand management, retail management, or a similar role within the skincare, wellness, or beauty industry, management of Direct-to-Consumer brands and spa realities is considered a plus.

• Proven track record of successfully elevating and growing brand awareness and market presence.

• Used to managing or closely collaborate with retail teams, including education.

• Ability to analyse customer data and translate insights into actionable strategies with a focus on data capture and consumer engagement.

• Strong understanding of retail operations and point-of-sale (POS) systems.

• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where agility and adaptability are key.

• Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
