Join our team as an Employee Health & Safety Manager at Parexel, where you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our Global Employee Health and Safety (EHS) program. We are looking for a dedicated professional who will ensure Parexel's compliance with health and safety regulations while providing valuable guidance to employees and managers in maintaining a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership:

Foster a positive and results-oriented work environment, building partnerships and modeling teamwork.Communicate with the team in an open, balanced, and objective manner.

Development & Implementation:

Develop and implement effective policies, procedures, and related training.Drive the EHS program, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement of health and safety throughout the organization.

Risk Assessment & Management:

Identify workplace hazards and risks through assessments.Create training programs and tools to aid in the implementation and compliance with the EHS program.Establish communication and escalation processes both internally and externally.Provide support to the Business Continuity Director

Incident Investigation & Control:

Conduct investigations of incidents to identify causes and recommend improvements to existing controls.Determine necessary resources to ensure compliance with EHS regulations.Monitor the performance of the EHS program and prepare reports for senior management.

Employee Health & Safety Expertise:

Provide leadership and consultancy for EHS activities worldwide.Act as an internal and external consultant for EHS matters.Oversee the EHS program and guide the business in implementing and executing their EHS responsibilities.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

Extensive EHS work experience in a global environment.Previous experience in the Clinical Research field (pharmaceutical industry or CRO) is preferred.Strong knowledge of strategic and best practices in EHS.Ability to develop relationships with a culturally diverse group of stakeholders.Proficiency in delivering training to geographically dispersed audiences.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Exceptional project management and organizational abilities.Flexibility with work assignments and eagerness to learn.Cultural awareness and ability to work globally.Willingness to travel as required.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in written and oral English along with a degree-level education.EHS-related qualification such as NEBOSH or IOSH is required.
