The Role:
What you will do?

The EDI, Freedom to speak up, Health and Wellbeing Team is delighted to advertise a great new opportunity to join our team in the capacity of Practitioner - Disability, Health Inequalities & Equity Our team is a developing one and has grown significantly over the past two years since we were established.

Our remit has expanded to incorporate Freedom to Speak Up as well as the Health and Wellbeing team, allowing us to bring a broader, multifaceted approach to each of these.


Your Skills and Background

Essential:

  • Good working knowledge of EDI legislation
  • An understanding of the challenges and obstacles that disabled people may face.
  • Genuine passion for, interest in, commitment to, and knowledge of the principles of EDI
  • IT literate intermediate level minimum
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Writing policy

Desirable:

  • EDI qualification
  • Project management qualification
  • Delivering EDI programmes
  • Partnership building and relationship management
  • Driving continuous improvement
  • Time management and prioritisation
  • Measuring effectiveness and impact
  • Training and capability building
  • Experience with WDES
